Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton is one of several programmes run by the Taiohi Toa Trust.
The Taiohi Toa Trust aims “To enhance community safety through initiatives that promote well-being and reduce the offending of children and young people in Hamilton”.

About Lexelei Taylor - Project Leader | Youth Development
Constable Lexlei Taylor has vast experience and knowledge supporting and working alongside the young people of Hamilton. She has served in the NZ Police for 14 years and in 2011 Lex received the NZ Police, Hamilton City Council and Hamilton Rotary’s "Police Officer of the Year" Award.
In 2012 Lex also received the "Australasian Women’s Excellence in Policing" Award. She is involved with a variety of youth focused organisations and continues to develop programmes for youth and whanau.
